Lyrics
Honored by generations hereafter with the title of 【One who possessed the hands of God】-
The sculptor 『Auguste Laurant』
Disappearing in the midst of war and returning with peace
A sculpture veiled with mysteries even today, his matchless masterpiece
The unknown 《Story》[roman] behind the 『Angel』...
"One who gives life to cold, lifeless stones.
This is but an exaggeration adopted by the world at large.
For I am merely accepting things the way they are with my two hands-
And as if planting a kiss on that warmth, give form to my imaginations...”
On top of that hill, with the spinning 《Windmill》[Moulin a vent] holding the sky in an embrace
Stands the uninviting silhouette of his 《Atelier》in silence...
He drew in solitude, not even knowing the expression[face] of his child...
【What I lack is not the design at my fingertips- but the imagination to surpass reality】
"Ah...light...ah...give me more light! 『In other words, creation』...the light of melancholy..."
Despite a vow taken for life, he steps into the monastery
He listens to the laughter of the children on the other side of the wall...
"That 《Jewel》[stone] that you grasp in your hand now is a fragile being
Do not let go of that hand...even when attacked..."
He drew alone, day by day, not even knowing the smile[face] of his child...
【What I need is not regret of past days- but the love[affection] to weave fantasies】
"Ah...light...ah...give me more light! 『In other words, expiation』...the light of salvation..."
No matter how much of a sage one may be, one cannot stop the flow of sands
In the silver hourglass prepared for him, only few specks remain...
A small 《Flame》, ignited in this world at the expense of his mother's light
This is the last struggle of the foolish man who had come to hate that shine...
He spread the wings of imagination, and eventually, wings spread on the 『Sculpture』’s back-
"Ah...I have no regrets anymore. You finally smiled for me..."
“It’s okay now, daddy.”
“Can roman be found there...?”
